AIR PURIFIER BY UV-C RADIATION
A battery of high-performance UV-C lamps, located between the filters, emits high-intensity UV-C radiation into the sterilization channel with a properly selected λ wavelength of 253.7 nm. This causes the irreversible process of destruction of bacteria, viruses, molds, fungi and other microorganisms in the air that flow through the unit. Thanks to the special construction of the closed disinfection channel, the emitted high-energy UV-C radiation does not spread outside the interior of the unit, which allows the safe operation of the sterilizer in this mode in rooms with the presence of people.
In the sterilization mode, the ozone (O3) produced by the sterilizer, as a very strong oxidant, has fungicidal, bactericidal and virucidal properties. Ozone also has the ability to neutralize all kinds of odors. Thanks to the high performance ozone generators used in the unit, the speed and efficiency of this decontamination method with STERYLIS sterilizers is extremely high. The total sterilization of the rooms is usually complete in approximately 4 hours and the entire process is controlled by a system that measures the ozone concentration generated in the room in real time. The intelligent control of the ozone process ensures not only the highest efficiency in sterilization but also the safety of the entire process. The safe concentration of ozone is possible thanks to the function of its destruction after the sterilization process. Thanks to the gaseous form of the ozone generated, not only the air in the room is completely sterilized, but also all the objects in the room that the ozone has been able to reach during the decontamination process.
